They were a reasonable size and skewered. The garlic grilled shrimp took the longest to get. As to the shrimp, they themselves had no discernible flavor. Seemed like the same batter, but here there is honey drizzled on the plate with some red spice. The next shrimp plate was the “Nashville Hot” style. But the real issue was that the shrimp were mealy. The dipping sauce is pleasant with pineapple and mayo as the main ingredients. The coconut shrimp are super small and overloaded with batter. The blue cheese dressing was barely blue. My partner got red onion slices, I didn’t. The cheddar biscuits (best part of meal) were warm, but no butter The salad was basic ice berg with two cherry tomatoes, about five shreds of cabbage and croutons. Of course they first provide other items to fill you up. A few times we were waiting to get refillsįood: we both did the “endless shrimp”. The ceiling (acoustic tiles) is dark with food and oil stains. It didn’t smell of cleaning product which is often a problem in chain restaurants. If your driving through on Highway 101 and feel like some seafood, Red Lobster is the place to go!!! MoreĪmbience: The place is generally clean and bright. If my family is in town and have a craving for seafood, we come here, they can handle parties of 5 or more really well. Every meal that I have had here was always hot and cooked perfectly. Clam Chowder is always hot and has good flavor. I love seafood and there is nothing I have ever ordered from this Red Lobster that was not good. Everyone is real friendly, helpful and making sure we had Cheddar Bay Biscuits on the table, water, soda or even alcohol in our glasses!!!! Service here is always great, I don't think I can remember a time I had any issues with the waiter or waitress'. Every now and then I use to wait 20 to 45 minutes for a table, since the pandemic, wait time has dropped and it is nice. Though I live in Rohnert Park and keeping local business going, no matter if it is a mom and pop, small business or a conglomerate, this restaurant, Red Lobster, is still a go to place for me and my boys.
